I was given an iPad Mini for Christmas (*Best Husband Award duly given) and downloaded the ArtRage app to play with. Prior to this I played on my Samsung Galaxy Note phone, in the SMemo function and drew and doodled in it. Prior to that I have used Photoshop Elements (11, most recently) to create art and illustrations, manipulate photos etc for art that I licence to be printed on products.
So, I've got a little experience under my belt, in the digital art area. Not loads, not as accomplished as many I've seen, but enough to have a taste and recognize the benefits and attraction of digital art studio in a portable format. In fact, I'm investigating programs from my desk top. I'm looking for more true-to-life media appearance from the program. I think I'll be trying Corel Painter Lite first - but just finishing up my research first.
Here are a couple of doodles and pet portraits I've done recently. I've had a lot of fun creating them!
