Horses, of course, in miniature. Not to be confused with Miniature Horses!
I decided to play big by playing small. Small portraits. Teeny, tiny (for me!) original art pendants, painted in acrylics and watercolours, so far.
I wanted to be able to accomplish a completed painting; since there have been so many other things vying for my attention and energy these days, I thought painting tiny might be the ticket. Unsurprisingly, they take a lot longer than I expected. But, I'm getting quicker. And they are quite satisfying to do!
If you would like to commission a tiny portrait of your beloved animal please email me at Renee@ReneeForthFukumoto.com and let's chat about your ideas.
I've had to upgrade my paint brushes. Next I might try painting in oils, and also the "Open" acrylics by Golden.
Maybe its time to paint dogs and cats and landscapes...
The sky's the limit.
