Paintings of Kittens and Wrestling with Energy

First off, I'll introduce you to my little watercolour of two of our cats, created from a photo of when they were kittens. This is Charlotte (aka Charlie, the black and white) and Chase. Full siblings, born in the barn where I boarded my horse. I was captivated by their eyes and so they eventually came home with me.

It's fun to be looser, less fussy in my brush strokes. I get the idea across, and perhaps something of emotion as well. The softness of kitten fur, the innocence in their eyes.

Energy has been in short supply. Turns out I'm having some health stuff happening that needs addressing (nothing dire, just requires attention). It may take a little time to improve. Meanwhile, I'll be kind to myself and not be upset if I don't manage a painting absolutely every day. After all, this is a Personal Project, right? :D
